The purpose of this web site is to share some of the information and software that i have found useful from my 40+ years of experience as a Software Engineer and Architect developing informatic solutions in the semiconductor industry.

Semiconductors are the basis of modern electronics.  Semiconductor products are produced by Semiconductor Manufacturers.  The semiconductor products start as electronic components patterned on a silicon wafer.  The wafer components are assembled onto "substrates" or into "packages" for final use.  See the page "Semiconductor Manaufacturing Overview" on this site or Google for more information.
