I have been working as a software engineer and architect for more than 40 years.  I started software development using BASIC and FORTRAN, and then learned Perl, Java, HTML, Javascript, and Python.  I started database development using Oracle, then MySQL, teradata, and PostgreSql.  I have worked on Microsoft Windows, Redhat Linux, and Apple MacOS operating systems.
